On January 30, 2003, RPI's archivist gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
My name is Timothy Maus and I serve as the taper / archivist for the band Ryan
Patrick Imming. I also help with promotions and tape trading amongst the fans.
The group is a trio from Kansas City, MO. The band includes Ryan Patrick
Imming on acoustic guitar, vocals and harmonica; John Liddell on bass guitar
and acoustic guitar; and Jeff Catchum on saxophone and flute.
The band has a completely open taping policy including audience recordings,
soundboard recordings and video. Of course their taping policy depends upon
the opening acts for shows that they don't headline.
I am inquiring about getting the band involve with archive.org.
and followed up later with
Hello Diana,
Yes I have the "say-so" to go ahead and OK the band for archive.org. I do
tape and archive the majority of shows, however other tapers have recorded
RPI. Therefore there are no restrictions for RPI regarding audience,
soundboard or video recordings.
The website for the band may be found at www.rpimusic.com . We are
currently putting together the "official" taping policy and posting it on
the website. It will consist of an entirely open policy.
Thank you so much,
Tim
